During summer of 2014, I interned at a metal manufacturer which produce high-end metal doors and home decorations. Thus, I was a lead designer in the creative department where I learned in first hand how every machine works and potential, how a factory operate based on every product, and how design can greatly affect the manufacturing cost. As a result, I learned to consider the manufacturing steps as I design different types of product.
Inspiration: Sori Yanagi's "Butterfly Stool"

One sheet of metal, 4 cuts with laser cutter, 2 bends, and 2 times of powder coating.
